Happy Halloween!
Mom and Dad wouldn't let Zach go trick or treating this year (something about being too young???), so please mail all your leftover candy to this desperate lobster. (more halloween photos)

We finally completed our international move and are settling down in California. The last few months have been very busy. We started August at a family reunion with all of Jenny's family. Four siblings, their spouses, and seven children sharing the same beach house made for one crazy, but very fun, week. Zach met all of his cousins, aunt, uncles, and of course Grammom and Grampop Welde were there hosting the whole thing!
Kevin then left to start work in California while Jenny and Zach relaxed a bit longer in South Carolina. During that time, they visited our friends Brooke & Paul Brucke in North Carolina before eventually heading up to Pt. Lookout, Michigan to see Grandma and Grandpa Jarvis. Kevin returned to Michigan for Grandpa Jarvis' 60th birthday celebration with that entire side of the family, followed by Jody Thayer's beautiful wedding just a few houses down the beach.
Finally, we all flew to California in mid-September and moved into our new house a couple of weeks later. Grandma and Grandpa Jarvis flew out to see us for a week in early October and were a HUGE help getting us all settled in our new place.
As a family we are feeling settled, however Zach is now on the go! He is crawling, cruising, attempting to walk, and getting into everything! It is hard to keep up with him and his favorite past times seem to be seeking out electrical cords, stuffing any and every piece of anything in his mouth with rapid speed, and standing outside the tub wishing for his next bathtime. He is also happily eating more and more finger foods, including grapes (cut into 16 pieces by his crazy mom), cheese, toast, avacado, and his all-time favorite.... Cheerios. He is our little lap dog who begs for whatever food we happen to be eating.
Phew! It's been a crazy few months, but we had a blast! It is nice to have a home again, and resume some normal day-to-day life. Our new contact info is listed on the right. Give us a call anytime, or better yet come out and visit, we'd love to have you!
